The size of the world has been minimized due to the use of a computer. Its value is tremendous in human life. In the case of children, the regular consumption of the computer brings more adverse afflict rather than affirmative effects on them. This essay admits this statement.
To start with, the computer has global influence and is of unlimited benefits to mankind. However, it is as harmful as poison if children consume it on a regular basis. It affects the eyesight of children. As a computer is an electronic device, it may take away the vision, or it leads to poor visibility at an early age.
To continue, since a computer is an electronic means, it makes children exhausted without any work. Then children cannot give effort to their studies. Similarly, it lessens the creativity of children, too. Without creating their own answers, they rely on computers. They are used to doing copy and pasting via computer, by which they cannot create even an original single sentence by themselves.
Similarly, the computer has isolated children from family and companions. They spend hours and hours on the computer, no time to gather with family and companions. Because of addiction to computers, they cannot stay even a second without a computer.
To conclude, the advent of the computer has revolutionized almost every walk of human life. It, however, is a curse for children if they consume it excessively. Hence, parents should maintain a routine for using a computer, and time for study. In school, they should be imparted the lesson of darker sides of the computer if they use it hugely.
